I started teaching in Electra in 2008 as a second grade teacher. I have taught at Electra for 14 years. I have taught vaious grade levels while I have been at Electra. I am currently the Special Education teacher for grades 3-6. 

I began my teaching career in January of 2000 in Dilley, Texas teaching 2^nd grade. I loved being in south Texas and the culture was so fun to learn. The following fall, I moved home and taught at City View Elementary. I taught pre-kindergarten. This was exciting! For the next 8 years, I taught at City View. I enjoyed being a part of a growing school. In 2008, I finally was hired to teach at Electra. It was very exciting being able to teach in the same district that my kids were attending. The hometown pride and the love of Being a Tiger was welcoming and made me remember being an Electra Tiger in my younger years. I loved being a student here and I more than love being a teacher for this wonderful district that will always be dear to me.
